Responsibilities
- Perform, assist with, and complete Cardiac and Vascular radiographic examinations.
- Conduct active radiographic interventional procedures in the cardiovascular lab using specialized equipment.
- Operate imaging systems to produce digital images as ordered by physicians.
- Position and instruct patients for examinations; perform specialized studies as required.
- Deliver clinical care with a high level of technical skill, organization, and critical thinking.
- Model, mentor, and train staff on technical skills; provide input into staff hiring and promotion decisions where appropriate.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a cardiovascular interventional radiology lab environment.
- Proficiency with digital radiography equipment and image production.
- Strong patient positioning and patient education skills for complex procedures.
- Effective communication and collaboration in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting.
- Willingness to mentor colleagues and participate in ongoing staff development and process improvement.
- Flexible to a varied shift pattern and travel assignment requirements.
