Job Summary
FTK Hospitality, a rapidly growing restaurant group in West Palm Beach, is seeking a skilled Accountant/Controller to oversee daily bookkeeping and financial operations. In this pivotal role, you will help drive our success by ensuring financial accuracy, maintaining organized records, and creating essential financial documents and reports. Key Responsibilities
- Bookkeeping & Financial Management
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping for the restaurant group
- Prepare and maintain accurate balance sheets and financial statements
- Track and analyze costs, trends, and vendor payments
- Generate weekly and monthly financial documents and reports
- Create and manage budgets for multiple restaurant locations
- Technology & Systems Integration
- Integrate financial data from POS and restaurant management software
- Leverage technology to streamline accounting and reporting processes
- Administrative Responsibilities
- Ensure all records are organized, accurate, and up to date
- Work independently with minimal supervision while supporting the executive team
Requirements
- Proven experience as an accountant, controller, or in a similar financial role (restaurant, hospitality, or multi-unit business experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, financial reporting, and budgeting
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Advanced proficiency with accounting software, spreadsheets, and POS integrations
- Tech-savvy and comfortable adopting new systems
- Experience working with entrepreneurs or in fast-growing companies is a plus
- Self-starter who thrives with minimal direction
- Ability to work on-site 5 days a week in West Palm Beach
Schedule
Full-time, Monday–Friday, in-office (5 days per week)
