Job Title: Packaging Lab Technician

Location: Miami, FL

Pay rate - $27.46/hour

Job Description:

The Packaging Lab Technician will assist engineers with packaging performance testing, including physical testing, shock and vibration testing, and environmental exposure testing. Responsibilities include following packing instructions, executing test procedures, downloading and managing data files, documenting test results, and assisting with the preparation of distribution test reports.

The technician will also coordinate incoming and outgoing product shipments, maintain laboratory supplies and organization, manage lab schedules, provide project status updates, and support packaging material selection and waste reduction.

Requirements:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Experience in manufacturing, product testing, packaging, quality inspection, or laboratory operations.

• Experience documenting test results and maintaining accurate records.

• Ability to work fully on-site in Miami, FL.

Preferred Qualifications:

• College coursework in Packaging, Materials Science, or a related engineering field.

• Knowledge of ASTM D-series or ISTA packaging standards.

• Experience with technical writing, ISO, or GMP procedures.

• Experience in an FDA-regulated environment.

• CAD or drafting software knowledge.

• Previous packing, shipping, or warehouse experience.
