A day in this role
When production starts, you’re the one who makes sure every tool is exactly where it needs to be. You’ll greet machinists and assemblers at the window, issue the right cutters and gauges, receive returns, and keep the tool crib’s shelves in perfect order so teams can stay focused on building precision parts.
What you’ll own
- Oversee the tool crib’s daily flowissue, receive, and track tooling and production supplies.
- Maintain accurate stock counts and update inventory records for tools, consumables, and materials.
- Organize storage locations so the right items are always easy to find and ready for production.
