Title:Project Engineer - Heavy Civil Construction
Location: Fort Lauderdale (West Palm Beach acceptable as well)
Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 + Bonus
Founded in 1988, we are an established heavy civil contractor specializing in marine construction, bridge structures, transportation infrastructure, design-build delivery, site development, and public works projects throughout Florida and the Southeast. Our teams support DOT, municipal, transportation, marine, and private-sector infrastructure clients.
The Project Engineer will support field operations, project management, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, RFIs, submittals, and project controls on complex heavy civil projects.
What You Will Be Doing
Support project teams from preconstruction through closeout
Manage RFIs, submittals, procurement tracking, and project documentation
Assist with project schedules, cost tracking, and progress reporting
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field operations
Support quality control, inspections, and contract compliance
What You Need for This Position
2+ years of construction, civil engineering, or project coordination experience
Civil Engineering or Construction Management background preferred
Understanding of construction drawings and specifications
Experience with Bluebeam, Procore, or similar platforms preferred
Desire to build a career in heavy civil construction
