Responsibilities:
• Evaluate and assess the communication needs of our residents, conducting comprehensive assessments to identify areas for improvement
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech, language, and cognitive deficits
• Provide direct therapy services, including individual and group sessions, to residents with various communication disorders
• Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team, including nursing, recreation, and occupational therapy, to ensure comprehensive care
• Document treatment plans, progress, and outcomes in our electronic medical records system
• Participate in staff education and training, sharing knowledge and best practices with our team
