HVAC Apprentice: No Experience Needed, We Will Train You
Looking for a career, not just a job? Tru72 is hiring HVAC Apprentices who are ready to learn a skilled trade from the ground up. No HVAC experience is required. We will bring you into the industry, pair you with experienced technicians and installers, and teach you how to install, service, and repair heating and air conditioning systems in homes across our community.

What You Will Learn
- How to install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ductwork alongside our install crews
- How to service and maintain HVAC equipment to keep customers comfortable year-round
- How to test and diagnose the Tru72 way: electrical, refrigerant systems, airflow, and thermostats/controls
- How to use the tools of the trade, from hand tools to meters and gauges
- Safe work practices and proper refrigerant handling, including preparing for your EPA 608 certification
- How to talk with homeowners, explain the work, and deliver a great customer experience
What You Will Do
- Work side by side with experienced technicians and installers every day
- Help carry, set, and connect equipment on installation jobs
- Assist on maintenance visits and service calls
- Keep tools, materials, and the work truck organized and stocked
- Clean up job sites and treat every customer's home with respect
- Ask questions, take notes, and build your skills on every job
Your Career Path
Apprentice, then Install or Service Helper, then Installer or Service Technician, then Lead Tech and beyond. As you learn the trade and earn certifications, you will take on more responsibility and grow your earning potential.
What We Are Looking For
- A strong work ethic and a positive, coachable attitude
- Mechanically inclined or enjoy working with your hands (helpful, not required)
- Reliable, on time, and ready to work
- Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoors in all kinds of weather
- Able to lift 50+ lbs and climb ladders
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- MUST be able to pass background check
