Activity Aide FT

Locust Ridge located in Williamsburg, OHis seeking an Activity Aidefor our facility to perform activity functions as assigned; must be able to work a flexible schedule; position requires some weekends and evenings.Activities Aidewill be responsible for running activities, creating flyers and other materials, shopping for supplies, assisting with calendar preparation, and many other duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES OFActivity Aide:

• Lead scheduled activities programs that inspire spiritual, cognitive, social, physical and creative expressions

• Assist with the organizing, planning and implementation of programs and opportunities that promote resident well-being

• Enthusiastically promote and communicate programs and events to residents and

• Passionately motivate and serve residents of varying cognitive and physical abilities

• Interact with families and visitors of our residents

MANDATORY QUALIFICATIONS OFActivity Aide:

• High school graduate or equivalent

• Prior experience as activity assistant

• Prior experience in Long-Term Care/Healthcare is preferred
