About the Position

As a K-6th Grade Reading and/or Math Tutor, you’ll play a vital role in supporting students’ academic growth and confidence. Whether you specialize in reading, math, or both, your work will directly impact the lives of children who need it most. This is an opportunity to share your knowledge, foster a love for learning, and be a positive force in your community.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in reading and/or math for K-6th grade students.
• Develop engaging lesson plans tailored to each student's unique learning needs and goals.
• Foster a supportive and encouraging learning environment to help students build confidence in their abilities.
• Track student progress and communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and organization staff.
• Uphold the mission and values of Listen to Our Future in every interaction.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking individuals who are enthusiastic, patient, and committed to helping students succeed. While no prior experience is required, the ideal candidate will have:

• A strong understanding of K-6th grade reading and/or math concepts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A passion for education and a desire to make a meaningful impact.
• The ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs.
