Injection Molding & Extrusion Process Specialist

- Do you expertly bring molding lines online and keep them stable?
- Can you pinpoint why a part is drifting out of spec and correct it quickly?
- Are you energized by collaboration with operators, materials, maintenance, and leadership?
- Do you document adjustments so wins are repeatable, shift after shift?
You will
- Start up, monitor, and optimize production equipment
- Troubleshoot machine, process, material, and quality issues
- Dial in parameters to improve efficiency and part quality
- Run tests to confirm equipment capability
- Execute changeovers and insert changes
- Recommend repairs and critical replacement parts
- Reduce downtime, scrap, and bottlenecks with data-driven decisions
- Log machine performance and process changes with accuracy
- Uphold all safety and quality standards
You have
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5+ years in plastics manufacturing
- Experience as a Process Technician, Molding Technician, Setup Technician, or equivalent
- Hands-on troubleshooting of molding machines and manufacturing processes
- Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving ability
- Knowledge of startups, process adjustments, and optimization techniques
- Proven ability to resolve quality issues
- Hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems knowledge
- LOTO experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Coachable, adaptable, and eager to learn new technologies
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
Compensation & details
- Pay: Starting at $25.00/hour, based on experience
- Sign-On Bonus: $5,000
- Employment Type: Direct Hire
