Core Responsibilities
- Equipment Handling: Transport, rig, and operate basic-to-mid-scale audio, video, lighting, and projection systems.
- Client Support: Meet on-site with event hosts, monitor room setups, troubleshoot tech issues live, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Floor Sales: Spot opportunities for on-site equipment up-selling and assist with final invoicing. [1]
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma required (associate degree preferred).
- Experience: Typically 1 year of customer service, hospitality, or audio-visual/educational tech experience.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and stand, walk, or bend for extended shifts.
- Certifications: Completion of internal Encore learning and training tracks within a set introductory window.
- License: A valid driver's license is usually required if operating company vehicles. [1]
