Overview
This job is primarily for cleaning homes after guests depart. The work schedule is a few hours part-time during the week and on-call based on reservations. You will have high standards to adhere to, but you will be trained. You be traveling throughout Central Florida. Counties include but may not be limited to: Polk, Lake, Marion, Osceola, and Volusia. Experience cleaning homes is a plus, but it is not required.

Please note before you apply:

· This is a 1099 contractor position.

· All team members are required to pass a background check.

· You must have your own, reliable transportation.

· We provide all the items for guests but you will have to bring your own cleaning supplies (We go over this with you in training).

· You must be able to work independently and cannot bring family or friends with you to any job.

· Standard pay is $15 an hour for training and $18 after training. Average training varies and is usually around 5 cleans.

Other opportunities with higher pay may be available depending on client needs.

Bonuses are considered after one year of part-time service!

Sometimes you will be asked to deep clean, but mostly we will ask you to maintain cleanliness and order in the homes you are assigned to. You will be asked to maintain our standards, so it is important you are flexible and able to adapt to change when it comes to our operating procedures and how we present the homes to guests. You will travel to various counties throughout Central Florida with fair compensation. You will work in a variety of homes, providing safe, clean, inviting spaces where guests can work, feel at ease, and make fantastic memories.

This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You must have a positive attitude and a desire to exceed expectations.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas using standard cleaning supplies, including bedrooms, bathrooms, hallways, restrooms, kitchens, porches/patios and common areas.
• Execute floor care duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Manage housekeeping tasks efficiently while adhering to established protocols and safety guidelines.
• Conduct industrial cleaning tasks as required, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations including sanitizing laundry, hard and soft surfaces.
• Collaborate with the housekeeping management team to ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and equipment is maintained in good working order.
• Respond promptly regarding cleaning needs or special services.
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
• Complete laundry per SSTR standards.
• Clean dishes as applicable, dust, sanitize, etc.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial services is helpful but not required.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Knowledge or ability to learn of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning products is essential.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
• A positive attitude and commitment to providing outstanding service in all interactions.
