Packer / Cleaner Associate

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented individual to support both facility cleaning and production packaging operations. This position involves maintaining clean and organized work areas, restrooms, offices, and common areas while assisting with the packaging, labeling, inspection, and boxing of finished products. The ideal candidate is reliable, follows established procedures, maintains high quality standards, and works well in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain restrooms, offices, cafeterias, and designated training or common areas.

Dust, vacuum, polish surfaces, clean windows, wipe down tables and counters, and empty waste receptacles.

Replenish restroom and cleaning supplies and properly separate recyclable materials.

Package, label, and box finished products according to production instructions and order requirements.

Review work orders and production information to determine packaging needs.

Gather finished products and maintain adequate packaging materials and supplies.

Inspect products, packaging, and materials for visible defects throughout the packaging process.

Apply labels, stamps, and product identification plates as required.

Assist with subassembly preparation and operate cleaning equipment or machinery when needed.

Maintain accurate documentation and promptly report building, equipment, or safety concerns to management.

Follow all safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment.

Participate in safety meetings and perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

At least 6 months of cleaning experience preferred or required.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and established work procedures.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Ability to perform repetitive tasks while standing, bending, lifting, and moving materials.

Ability to lift, push, pull, or move materials weighing up to 30 pounds.

Willingness to learn cleaning and production packaging procedures and complete required training.

Reliable attendance and the ability to complete assigned tasks within established timeframes.
