Maintenance Assistant- Full Time
About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Magnolia Post Acute in Colonial Heights, VA. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our facility by performing routine maintenance and repair tasks.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks to ensure the cleanliness and safety of our facility, including but not limited to: preventative building maintenance services, painting, plumbing, and groundskeeping
Work independently and as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently and effectively
Demonstrate flexibility in order to meet the needs of our residents and willingness to learn new skills
Support the team by working in a cohesive team-oriented manner and multi-tasking as needed
Provide attention to detail in all aspects of work
Utilize basic knowledge of HVAC systems
Problem-solve in a manner that benefits the care being provided to our residents

Requirements:
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to be flexible and learn new skills

Basic knowledge of preventative building maintenance services, painting, plumbing, and groundskeeping
Knowledge of HVAC helpful
