What you'll do- Perform wood framing for walls, floors and roof systems to plan and code
- Install doors, windows, trim, paneling and other finish components
- Read and follow construction drawings, site layouts and framing plans
- Measure, mark and cut lumber and building materials accurately
- Work safely and efficiently as part of a site crew; maintain clean work areas
- Coordinate with crew members and lead carpenters to meet daily production targets
What we're looking for- Proven framing experience (walls, floor and roof framing) on residential or commercial jobs
- Skilled in door, window and trim installation, plus hardware fitting
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and basic blueprints
- Strong measuring, cutting and layout skills with hand and power tools
- Comfortable working at heights and lifting heavy materials (50+ lbs)
- Reliable, punctual, able to work full shifts and overtime as needed
Qualifications- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to Brevard, NC jobsites
- OSHA 10 (preferred) or willing to obtain on request
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Able to pass a basic drug screen and background check if required
- Basic English for reading plans and communicating on-site
