Job Description
Direct Counsel is seeking a mid-to-senior level attorney withexperience handling complex healthcare litigation, with a particular focus on reimbursement disputes and business-related healthcare matters. The ideal candidate will have experience managing multiple matters and representing hospitals, health systems, or other healthcare providers.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle healthcare litigation involving reimbursement disputes, corporate matters, and complex commercial issues

  • Represent healthcare providers in negotiations, arbitrations, mediations, and litigation

  • Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents

  • Conduct legal research and analyze healthcare laws and regulations

  • Assist with claims analysis, depositions, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation

  • Manage multiple matters and communicate effectively with clients and opposing counsel

Qualifications:

  • 5–10+ years of relevant litigation experience

  • Strong healthcare litigation background; reimbursement experience preferred

  • Experience managing multiple cases

  • Strong writing, research, and analytical skills

  • Active bar license in the applicable jurisdiction

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $200,000 – $275,000, depending on experience

  • Bonus: Up to $112,500 based on performance
