One year of professional pest control experience required.

We give technicians enough time to do a thorough service, trust them to use their judgment, and listen when they see something we could do better. You’ll work directly with us, the owners, and we’ll back you up when a job needs extra attention.

About Home & Hive

We’re a husband-and-wife team in Celina, Texas. We started with live honeybee removal in 2014 and later expanded into residential pest control. We’re growing carefully with people who care how the work gets done.

Recurring visits are generally ~45 minutes so you can inspect, service, talk with the customer, recommend helpful upgrades, and leave useful notes. Customers should know their technician and feel confident calling us.

What you’ll own

You’ll run a recurring residential and commercial route and become the tech your customers trust.

• Notice what’s changed at each property and dig into customer concerns
• Complete the full service (de-webbing, treatments, yard granules, rodent stations, interior work as needed)
• Explain findings, what you did, and what to expect next
• Recommend additional services when they’d genuinely help
• Leave clear notes and follow through
• Take pride in your route, truck, tools, and appearance

We’ll train you on our methods. This is physical outdoor work in North Texas weather; some jobs involve ladders, attics, and carrying equipment.

Pay & growth

Base$23–$27/hour. Commission opportunities on eligible upgrades, new customers you bring in, and specialty work we’ll explain pay structure in the interview.

Interested in something different? We’ll train live honeybee removal (no bee experience required). You can also learn rodent exclusion, mosquito control, and termite work.

Who we’re looking for

Must have

• 1+ year professional pest control experience
• Dependable, comfortable with homeowners, careful with products & documentation
• Valid driver’s license and a driving record that meets our insurance requirements
• Reliable transport to our McKinney-area start location
• Ability to do physical outdoor work safely

Nice to have

• Independent route experience (residential & commercial)
• Current Texas pest control credentials (we support applicable licensing)
• Comfort with service conversations / light sales (we’ll coach)
