Entry Level Shipping and Receiving

## Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our fabrication team in Louisville, KY. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our products are shipped and received accurately and efficiently. ## Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the shipping and receiving processes for fabricated products.

• Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality.

• Prepare shipping documents and labels, ensuring compliance with regulations.

• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock management.

• Collaborate with team members to resolve shipping discrepancies and issues.

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.

• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized shipping and receiving area.

• Participate in regular inventory audits and cycle counts.

  Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional logistics or supply chain certifications are a plus.

• Previous experience in shipping and receiving, preferably in a fabrication or manufacturing environment.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

• Proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Ability to lift heavy objects and operate forklifts (certification preferred).

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to tasks.
