Interventional Radiologist 80% IR / 20% Diagnostic Radiology

POSITION OVERVIEW

Exciting onsite opportunity for an Interventional Radiologist to provide primarily IR procedural coverage with general diagnostic radiology reading responsibilities. This role offers a consistent weekday schedule and the potential to support two nearby locations based on the providers skill set and coverage needs.

SCHEDULE & COVERAGE

• MondayFriday, 8:00 AM5:00 PM

• 100% onsite

• Coverage in Southern Illinois

• Potential to cover two locations within the same week, depending on procedural capabilities and site requirements

• Locations are approximately 25 minutes apart

CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Approximately 80% Interventional Radiology procedures

• Approximately 20% general diagnostic radiology reading

• Perform IR procedures based on demonstrated competencies

• Provide diagnostic imaging interpretations as needed

• Support coverage needs across assigned locations when appropriate

PROCEDURAL CASE MIX

• Aspiration: 31%

• Drainage: 17%

• Surgical procedures: 10%

• CT Guidance: 7%

• Injection: 6%

• Catheterization: 5%

• Breast IR: 3%

• Biopsy and Aspiration: 3%

• Insertion: 2%

• Biopsy or Excision: 1%

• Endoscopic Catheterization: 1%

• Incision: 1%

• Placement: 1%

• Removal: 1%

PRODUCTIVITY EXPECTATIONS

• Approximately 45 RVUs per shift

IDEAL CANDIDATE

• Experienced Interventional Radiologist with strong procedural skills

• Comfortable with a primarily IR-focused workload and general diagnostic reading

• Flexible to provide coverage at two nearby locations if needed

• Available for a consistent MondayFriday, 8:00 AM5:00 PM schedule

• Willing to work onsite
