Barista

We are seeking a Barista to support a specialty coffee-focused, high-volume caf service. This role offers an opportunity to progress toward a shift lead position while working with manual espresso machines, batch brewers, grinders, blenders, and other beverage equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare specialty coffee and other beverages to service standards.
• Operate point-of-sale systems and process customer transactions.
• Deliver friendly, efficient customer service in a high-volume caf environment.
• Handle cash accurately and securely.
• Replenish stock and monitor inventory levels.
• Clean and maintain espresso machines, brewers, grinders, blenders, and beverage equipment.

Required Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in barista service.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with milk steaming.
• Knowledge of coffee preparation and specialty coffee.
• Experience using point-of-sale systems.
• Cash-handling experience.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
