Inventory Clerk

Aquinas Consulting is currently looking to fill an Inventory Clerk job in Bloomfield, CT. This CONTRACT hire job is available with one of our key customers in the manufacturing industry. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting the movement of materials between storage, production, and shipping areas. In order to be successful in this position, you must have a solid background in inventory control and a strong attention to detail. Preference will be given to someone with cycle count and inventory management system experience.

Inventory Clerk Job responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate inventory records in inventory management systems.
• Perform cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
• Record units handled and moved on daily production sheets or work tickets.
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine assignments and material and equipment needs.
• Move, sort, load, and unload materials between storage, production areas, loading docks, and delivery vehicles by hand or using trucks, tractors, and hoisting equipment.
• Tag, pack, and crate containers, and re-pack damaged containers as needed.

Qualifications:

• Three to five years of experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, and procedures
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with solid problem solving ability
• Team player and detail oriented

This contract Inventory Clerk job is based in Bloomfield, CT. The hourly pay rate for this role ranges from $17.00 - $22.00. Contractors working through Aquinas Consulting are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, medical indemnity coverage, a 401(k) plan, and biweekly direct deposit pay. Contract roles do not include PTO unless required by applicable state laws.
