Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – School Setting
Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Work Setting: In-person – Elementary School

Contract Duration: Approximately 40 weeks (2026–2027 School Year)
Schedule: Monday–Wednesday, 7:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech and language services to elementary school students. The ideal candidate will support students in developing communication skills and help them achieve their educational and speech-language goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students' speech, language, and communication needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy goals.
- Provide speech-language therapy services to elementary school students.
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and student records.
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, families, and other professionals to support student development.
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies as needed.
Requirements:
- Valid Colorado state certification or applicable credentials for school-based SLP practice.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred/required as applicable; candidates with Colorado Department of Education (CDE) certification pending may be considered.
- Experience working with school-aged children is preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to complete the school district's in-person fingerprinting, onboarding, and orientation process before starting.

- Fingerprinting and onboarding must be completed at the district office before the start date.
