A precision manufacturing company is seeking an experienced CNC Screw Machine Operator to support production operations in a fast-paced machine shop environment. Candidates with CNC machining experience and strong attention to detail are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC screw machines
- Monitor machine cycles and identify tooling or machining issues
- Perform tool changes and basic machine setups
- Run production lots while maintaining quality standards
- Inspect finished components using precision measuring equipment
- Communicate production updates and concerns with team members
- Maintain equipment and work areas in a safe and organized condition
- Follow all safety and quality procedures
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of CNC screw machine experience preferred
- Manufacturing technology coursework or equivalent experience considered
- Strong understanding of machining fundamentals
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Experience with Swiss-style screw machines is a plus
- Lean manufacturing experience preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand throughout the shift
- Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
