Director, Engineering & Technology -- Applied Research

Location: Dallas–Fort Worth, TX (on-site)

Lead an applied research organization that turns early-stage technology into fieldable missile and defense products.

What you'll do

• Set the applied research strategy and investment plan
• Lead engineering managers and technical staff across multiple disciplines
• Partner with business development to capture research and prototype contracts
• Move promising technologies into product lines and programs of record
• Build ties with government labs, universities and industry partners

What you bring

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or physical science; M.S. or Ph.D. preferred
• 15+ years in R&D or advanced engineering, 7+ years leading technical teams
• Experience winning and running government-funded research
• Active security clearance preferred
