Job Summary
We are seeking a Teller to join our team! As a Teller, you will assist members with a variety of financial transactions and account service needs, including processing deposits, withdrawals, payments, and cash transactions with accuracy and efficiency. You will answer questions about credit union products and services, assist members with account-related inquiries, and help identify solutions that meet their financial needs. The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional member service in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet members and identify their financial service needs.
- Process member transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, transfers, and cash transactions.
- Balance cash drawers and adhere to all cash handling procedures, security standards, and credit union policies.
- Answer questions regarding accounts, services, products, and digital banking options.
- Assist members with account inquiries and help resolve routine account issues.
Qualifications
- Previous banking, credit union, retail cash handling, or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving and member service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
