Quality Control Technician - Contract

TRC Talent Solutions is currently hiring for a Quality Control/Quality Assurance Technician for our great customer in Horsham, PA!

Job Summary:

Responsible for inspecting/testing all semi-finished and finished fabricated systems or sub-systems in a manufacturing environment. Works with assignments that are moderately complex in nature where judgement is required in solving problems and making routine recommendations.

Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM

Job Type: Contract - Maternity Leave fill in

Payrate: $21.00 - $30.00 Per Hour

Location: Horsham, PA 19044

Requirements for QA Technician:

1 Year of quality technician experience required

US Citizenship or Permanent Resident status required

Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint knowledge

Able to interpret and utilize schematics and mechanical engineering drawings

Familiar with measuring devices (height gauge, calipers, multimeter, oscilloscope, etc.)

Familiarity with hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, etc.

High School Diploma or equivalent

ERP D365 system knowledge a plus

IPC-610, J-SPD-001 and IPC-620 is a plus

Discus software and net inspect a plus

Responsibilities as a QA Technician:

Performs incoming, in-process and final inspections on metal work, cable assemblies, and complex products

Perform special test as assigned i.e. Hi Pot, oscilloscope fiber optic testing, load testing and Functional Tests

Interact with customers and vendors regarding quality issues, customer source inspections

Recalls instruments for calibration monthly

Performs first article per AS9102 on discus and/or Net Inspect per customer requirement

Perform measurements with dedicated measuring tools (calipers, gages, micrometers, etc)

Daily data entry for quality assurance analysis
