Role Description The Senior Tax and Accounting Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in either Naples, FL or Canonsburg, PA. This role is responsible for preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns, compiling and analyzing financial statements, and posting and reconciling journal entries. Day-to-day work includes managing client accounting records, using QuickBooks Online to process transactions, supporting payroll and bookkeeping functions, and assisting with tax planning and compliance. The Senior Associate will communicate directly with clients to address questions, explain financial results, and provide guidance, while collaborating with team members to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant reporting.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in preparing and analyzing financial statements and general finance concepts.
• Candidates should possess skills in recording and reconciling journal entries and managing core accounting processes.
• Candidates should possess well-developed analytical skills for interpreting financial data and identifying trends or issues.
• Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and related financial tools. Experience with Drake Tax Software and QuickBooks Online is a plus
• Relevant experience in public accounting, tax preparation, and small business advisory services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or EA designation is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple client engagements.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in an office environment.
