In Aberdeen, NC, we’re looking for a hands-on CNC expert who can turn prints into parts with confidence and consistency.
- Can you read blueprints and work orders and translate them into machine-ready setups?
- Do you know your way around offsets, basic tool changes, and CNC controls?
- Are calipers, micrometers, and gauges part of your everyday toolkit?
- Do you spot quality issues early and correct them before they become scrap?
What You’ll Tackle
- Operate CNC equipment to meet exact specifications and production goals
- Load/unload materials and finished parts safely
- Set workpieces securely using the right fixtures and tooling
- Execute CNC programs and follow blueprints and instructions precisely
- Monitor cycle performance and process stability
- Conduct in-process and final inspections; verify critical features
- Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and tape measures with confidence
- Apply basic adjustments and offset edits to maintain tolerance
- Troubleshoot dimensional or quality deviations and take corrective action
- Check tooling wear; replace as needed to ensure part quality
- Document production counts and quality results accurately
- Keep your machine and area clean, organized, and safe
- Follow all safety protocols and required PPE standards
- Hit quality and throughput targets consistently
What Makes You a Fit
- Previous CNC machine operation experience (preferred)
- Experience in manufacturing/machining environments
- Strong blueprint and work-instruction reading skills
- Working knowledge of CNC controls and machine operation
- Proficiency with precision measurement tools and inspection methods
- High attention to detail and product quality
- Mechanical aptitude with basic troubleshooting skills
- Team player who can also work independently
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle material as required
