In-Home Caregiver (Overnight) - Utah County, UT
Job Summary:
At Visiting Angels Utah County, we provide compassionate, dependable care for Utah seniors and their families, empowering them to age in place with dignity and independence. We are seeking experienced In-Home Caregivers who share our passion for helping others and take pride in providing exceptional care. As an In-Home Caregiver (Overnight), you will play a vital role in supporting our clients' daily needs, promoting their physical and emotional well-being, and enhancing their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
Companionship: Build meaningful relationships with clients through friendly conversation, active listening, and social activities.
Dementia & Memory Care: Support clients with memory loss through patient reassurance, consistent daily routines, and gentle reminders.
Bathing & Toileting: Provide respectful assistance with bathing, showering, and toileting.
Mobility Assistance: Assist with safe movement and mobility, while maintaining a safe home environment.
Meal Preparation: Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping.
Personal Care: Assist with dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
Medication Reminders: Provide reminders as authorized and permitted by the care plan.
Caregiver Qualification:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience with Dementia and Memory Care.
At least 1 year of previous caregiving experience.
18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the United States.
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
Ability to successfully complete required background checks and drug screening.
