Industrial Pipefitter

Pipe Fitter

Pay Range: $30.00 - $60.00 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and skills.

Outsource is seeking an experienced Pipe Fitter to join an industrial project team in Memphis, Tennessee. This role calls for 3-5 years of hands-on pipe fitting experience in process, mechanical, or utility piping systems.

Job Responsibilities

· Install large-bore industrial piping including process, mechanical, utility, and related systems

· Measure, cut, bevel, fit, hang, and make up joints per drawings and specifications

· Perform flange, groove, thread, and welded-joint fit-up, including aligning pipe and setting gaps for the welding crew

· Install valves, fittings, hangers, supports, strut, and anchors, and hang pipe racks and supports plumb and on grade

· Read and interpret isometric, spool, and arrangement drawings, field-routing as directed

· Identify and flag drawing conflicts prior to installation

· Support hydro, pneumatic, and service testing, including installing blinds

Qualifications

· 3-5 years of experience as a pipe fitter in industrial or commercial construction settings

· Proficient in reading and interpreting isometric, spool, and arrangement drawings

· Skilled in measuring, cutting, beveling, and fitting large-bore pipe to specification

· Experience with flange, groove, thread, and welded-joint fit-up and alignment

· Familiarity with installing valves, fittings, hangers, supports, strut, and anchors

· Understanding of hydro, pneumatic, and service test procedures, including blind installation

· Ability to work safely at heights and in varied industrial field conditions

Compensation and Benefits

· Hourly pay range of $30.00 to $60.00 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and project requirements
