Snelling is seeking dependableGeneral Laborers/Assemblersfor a busy manufacturing shop in the Alabaster, AL area. The company has a large number of orders that need to be completed and is looking for reliable individuals to help assemble seismic towers.
Pay: 18.00/hr
Job Duties:
- Assemble seismic towers using screws, bolts, and basic hand tools
- Follow assembly instructions and ensure components are properly secured
- Stand for extended periods while working
- Regularly stoop, bend, kneel, reach, and work in various positions
- Work as part of a small shop team
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assist with other general labor and assembly duties as needed
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM
- Some Saturdays requiredwhile the company works to catch up on orders
- Normal hours areMonday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Requirements:
- Previous assembly, manufacturing, construction, or general labor experience is helpful butnot required
- Must be dependable and ready to work
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, bend, and reach throughout the workday
- Must be comfortable using basic hand tools
- Must be able to work well as part of a small team
- No forklift experience required
