We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented professional to join our team in a hands-on maintenance role. This position plays an important part in supporting safe, efficient, and well-functioning facilities by performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and responding to service needs in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems, equipment, and fixtures
- Respond to maintenance requests and service calls with professionalism and urgency
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections to help reduce downtime and extend equipment life
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and general facility issues as assigned
- Complete work orders accurately and document repairs, parts used, and completed tasks
- Assist with installations, adjustments, and minor upgrades to facilities and equipment
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Coordinate with supervisors, vendors, and team members to ensure timely resolution of issues
Qualifications
- Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, or a related hands-on technical role
- Working knowledge of basic electrical, mechanical, plumbing, or HVAC systems
- Ability to diagnose problems and complete repairs efficiently and accurately
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift, move, and operate tools, equipment, and materials as needed
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts, if required
Preferred Skills
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs or computerized maintenance systems
- Familiarity with general facility operations and safety standards
- Basic troubleshooting skills across multiple trades
- Certifications or training in a maintenance-related field
