Job Summary

The Customer Service Account Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships, managing assigned accounts, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the order and service process. This role serves as a primary point of contact for customers, coordinating orders, responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and communicating with internal departments to ensure customer needs are met accurately and efficiently.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, professional, and proactive, with strong communication and problem-solving skills. They should be comfortable managing multiple accounts, prioritizing tasks, and developing long-term customer relationships while supporting the company's overall business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain relationships with assigned customer accounts, serving as the primary point of contact for customer needs and inquiries.
• Provide exceptional customer service through timely, professional, and effective communication.
• Process and coordinate customer orders, quotes, requests, and account updates accurately.
• Monitor order status, production schedules, and delivery timelines, communicating updates to customers as needed.
• Resolve customer concerns, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely solutions.
• Maintain accurate customer records, account information, order details, and communications within company systems.
• Proactively follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction, address outstanding issues, and identify opportunities to improve service.
• Collaborate with sales, production, operations, and other departments to meet customer expectations and business objectives.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen customer relationships, retain existing business, and support account growth.
• Assist with administrative tasks, reporting, documentation, and other duties as needed.

Qualifications

• 4+ Years experience
• Bachelors Degree
• Previous experience in customer service, account management, sales support, or a related role preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle customer concerns professionally.
• Proficiency with computers, email, Microsoft Office, and customer relationship management (CRM) or order management systems.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
• A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to accuracy, accountability, and follow-through.
