Job Description:
Insight Global is seeking a Warehouse Associate for a top client. This individual will support day-to-day warehouse operations, including inbound receiving, inventory management, order processing, picking, packing, and outbound shipping. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, and experienced with inventory systems and material-handling equipment. Forklift certification and Great Plains software experience are strong plusses.
Day-to-Day:
- Unload, inspect, check in, and receive inbound shipments, including POs, consignment, and RMAs
- Inventory and catalog incoming products
- Pick, package, and ship outbound customer orders
- Process purchase and sales orders in the company's inventory management system
- Locate warehouse inventory and complete stock checks
- Perform cycle counts and support inventory accuracy
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, rolling racks, and other material-handling equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized warehouse and assist with additional operational needs
Must-Haves:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of warehouse experience with receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
- Ability to process sales and purchase orders within an inventory management system
- Inventory experience, including stock checks and cycle counts
- Comfortable using warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, rolling racks, and forklifts
- Ability to safely handle parts weighing up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet for extended periods
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
