Finance (Sponsor Finance) Associate Attorney

Direct Counsel is seeking a Finance (Sponsor Finance) Associate Attorney to join a premier Am Law firm with a sophisticated finance practice. The ideal candidate will have 2–6 years of finance experience at a top-tier law firm, with a focus on representing private equity sponsors, private companies, and other borrowers in secured financing transactions.
Responsibilities:
Represent private equity sponsors, private companies, and other borrowers in secured financing transactions.
Handle acquisition financings, refinancings, and other complex financing transactions.
Work collaboratively with attorneys and clients on fast-paced, sophisticated transactions.
Analyze and communicate complex legal and business matters clearly and effectively.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
Contribute to firm and practice group initiatives.
Qualifications:
2–6 years of finance experience at a top-tier law firm.
Significant experience representing private equity sponsors, private companies, and other borrowers.
Experience with secured transactions, particularly acquisition financings and refinancings.
Strong initiative and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and client relationship skills.
Strong interest in professional growth and taking on increased responsibility.
Salary: $260,000–$390,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and other factors, plus potential discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits.
