TheResearchAssociate/AssociateScientistwillworkfulltimeandwillworkwiththeR&Dteamtoresearchnewdevices,designandperformstudiestosupportvariousprojectsanddependingoneducationandexperiencelevel,helpdevelopandformulatenewproducts.Thecandidateshouldhaveexcellentorganizationskills,attentiontodetail,andbefamiliarwithGoodLaboratoryPractices.
EssentialFunctions
- CompleterequiredISO,analyticalandothercharacterizationtestingonproducts,formulations,andrawmaterials
- Design,planandexecutelaboratoryexperimentswithindefinedprojectobjectives,usingestablishedmethods,scientificliterature,andguidancefromseniorR&Dteam.
- Preparetestspecimens,formulations,standards,reagents,andmaterialsinaccordancewithapprovedprotocols,testmethods,andstandardoperatingprocedures
- Keepanaccuraterecordofexperiments,results,observations,andpreliminaryconclusionsinwrittenreports,technicalsummaries,presentations,andlaboratorynotebooks.
- Troubleshootproblemsandtakecorrectiveactionstosolveissuesthatarisewithinthelaboratoryorproduction.PresentfindingsandsuggestsolutionstotheR&Dteam
- Assistproductionanddevelopmentactivitiesbyweighingingredients,preparinglaboratorybatches,mixingmaterialsandfollowingstandardoperatingproceduresanddocumentingprocessingparametersandevaluatingphysicalandperformancecharacteristics
- Supportproductverification,validation,stability,aging,shelf-life,anddesign-changetestingbyexecutingapprovedprotocolsanddocumentingresults
- Create,followandmaintainSOPs,records,supplies,cleaning,maintenance/managementofalllaboratoryequipmentandworkareas
- Conductlaboratoryworkinsafe,efficientmannerthatensuresasafeworkingenvironmentforcolleagues.
- Monitorprocessestoensureconsistencyandreliability
