Job Title:General Laborer
Location:Madison, IL
Pay Rate:$21.00/hour
Shift:1st Shift
Schedule:5:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lift and move materials as directed
- Load and unload vehicles
- Dig and refill holes
- Mow grass, trim vegetation, andoperateequipment as needed
- Assist with general manual labor tasks and other activities as directed
- Follow directions from supervisors and perform other assigned duties
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- Required: High School Diploma or GED
- Preferred: Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
- 0–4 years of previous experience
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must have reliable transportation to get to work on time
- Ability to follow directions and work under direct supervision
Work Environment:
- Physical labor is a major component of the role
- Must be able to handle objects weighing less than 30 pounds for most of the workday
- Occasional exposure to occupational risks, including cuts, burns, or toxic chemicals
- Occasional exposure to dirt, odors, noise, and weather extremes
- Work is conducted primarily in a manual labor setting
