Prepare and secure materials onto racks using wire, chains, or ropes for safe movement through the galvanizing process.
Assist with loading, racking, unracking, and organizing materials according to production requirements.
Prepare materials for pickling tanks using established procedures and safety guidelines.
Operate and visually inspect equipment, tools, and machinery before use to identify potential maintenance concerns.
Clean and finish materials using grinders, files, brushes, and other hand tools as needed.
Inspect finished materials for quality issues, including drips, bare spots, holes, and other defects.
Remove wires and excess materials from finished products using appropriate tools.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production area.
Report damaged materials, equipment concerns, or quality issues to supervisors.
Follow all workplace safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Assist with training new team members when requested.
Perform additional production-related duties as assigned.
