Salary Range: $60,000–$80,000

Required Skills & Experience

• High School Diploma required
• Associate degree and/or relevant manufacturing quality experience
• 2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience
• Experience within a manufacturing quality environment
• Ability to perform and/or oversee dimensional measurements using a coordinate measuring machine (CMM)
• Experience supervising quality technicians, associates, or production employees
• Strong understanding of quality inspection processes, documentation, and corrective actions
• Ability to train employees and ensure quality procedures are consistently followed

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Automotive manufacturing experience
• IATF 16949 / TS 16949 experience
• Experience supporting internal or customer quality audits
• Experience with continuous improvement and root cause analysis

Job Description

The Quality Assistant Manager supports the leadership and daily operations of the quality department, including oversight of quality team members, inspection activities, training, documentation, and corrective actions.

This position partners closely with the Quality Manager and production leadership to resolve quality issues, maintain manufacturing standards, and ensure inspection processes are completed accurately. The Assistant Manager will also help coach employees, coordinate department priorities, and support continuous improvement initiatives focused on product quality and customer satisfaction.
