Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM | Friday, 7:00 AM–12:00 PM

The Opportunity

Edge Construction is a family-owned construction company looking for experienced framing carpenters to join our crew.

We frame a variety of residential homes throughout the Madison area, from standard new builds to large custom homes. Every project is a little different, so we're looking for carpenters who can read plans, think on their feet, and take pride in their work.

You'll have steady year-round work, a reliable crew, great benefits, and the opportunity to advance as your skills grow. We provide the equipment and keep jobs lined up so you can focus on building.

What You'll Do

• Frame and wrap new residential homes from foundation to roof.
• Read blueprints and lay out walls, floors, decks, and roof framing.
• Set rafters / trusses, install sheathing, house wrap, windows, and exterior doors.
• Work on different and unique home designs and occasional remodeling projects.
• Keep work square, level, plumb, and built to plan.
• Work safely with the crew to keep projects moving.

What We're Looking For

• Hands-on experience in ground up residential framing from and rough carpentry.
• Ability to read blueprints and complete framing tasks independently.
• Solid knowledge of framing tools, materials, and construction methods.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work without constant supervision.
• Comfortable working outdoors year-round and performing physical construction work.
• Willingness to learn, take initiative, lead the team, and grow with the company.
