Retail Staff Pharmacist - Rochester, IN

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A licensed pharmacist position is available to provide essential retail pharmacy services in Winamac, IN. This contract role requires a dedicated professional with experience in retail pharmacy settings, able to accurately process prescriptions and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill prescriptions and verify technician-prepared products prior to release
• Maintain strict security protocols for the pharmacy and controlled substances
• Enter orders and patient information with high attention to detail
• Utilize PioneerRx system for order entry (experience preferred)
• Support weekend coverage every other Saturday from 9am to 6pm

Qualifications:

• Indiana pharmacist license in good standing is required
• Proven experience in retail pharmacy preferred
• Proficient in handling controlled substances and pharmacy security measures
• Familiarity with PioneerRx pharmacy software is advantageous
• Strong organizational and communication skills

Schedule:

• 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday from 9am to 6pm
• Weekend shifts every other Saturday, 9am to 6pm
