The Greer Group has a great Direct Hire opportunity for a Design Engineer to join a manufacturing team in Arden, NC! This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in plastic injection mold design, 3D CAD modeling, and tooling who enjoys turning customer requirements into practical designs that can be manufactured efficiently.

What You'll Do
- Design plastic injection molds based on customer specifications and manufacturing requirements.
- Create detailed 3D models and 2D engineering drawings for mold fabrication.
- Work with customers and internal teams to understand part requirements and design needs.
- Review mold designs, simulations, and recommendations to improve performance and production efficiency.
- Help develop and improve mold design methods, processes, and technology.
- Maintain accurate engineering drawings, design files, and documentation.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and tooling teams to support quality and manufacturability.
What We're Looking For
- Experience designing plastic injection molds and related tooling.
- Proficiency with 3D CAD modeling and 2D engineering drawings.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a manufacturing team.
- 6 months-1 year experience plus an associate degree in a related technical field is preferred.
