Inlet Coastal Resort, a family-owned assisted living and memory care community, is seeking a Wellness Director to lead our care team. This hands-on leadership role offers the opportunity to build lasting relationships with residents and families, support staff, and help shape the quality of care throughout our community.
Your Role
- Lead daily clinical operations across assisted living and memory care.
- Supervise, mentor, and support caregivers, medication technicians, and nursing staff.
- Oversee medication management, including med cart audits and staff training.
- Maintain compliance with South Carolina assisted living regulations and community policies.
- Conduct resident assessments and maintain accurate, current Individual Service Plans (ISPs).
- Partner with families, physicians, and the Executive Director to coordinate resident care.
- Lead quality assurance efforts and follow through on opportunities for improvement.
- Manage staffing schedules, ensure appropriate coverage, and monitor overtime.
What You Bring
- An active South Carolina LPN or RN license.
- At least 3 years of experience in assisted living, memory care, or long-term care.
- At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of South Carolina assisted living regulations.
- Experience with resident assessments, care planning, and medication management.
- Clear communication, sound judgment, and a supportive, accountable leadership style.
Additional Requirements
- Flexibility for occasional evening and weekend needs.
- Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
