Project Manager

Seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Project Manager to oversee project scheduling, cost control, subcontractor management, trade coordination, and quality and safety compliance. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of commercial HVAC project management experience and be able to manage large projects with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and track project schedules, including trade manpower loading.

• Establish and maintain project cost control systems for equipment, materials, labor, subcontractors, and miscellaneous expenses.

• Direct trade planners in developing shop drawings and coordinate planning activities with other trades.

• Develop piping trade construction standards for the project.

• Procure and manage project subcontractors and equipment vendors.

• Conduct regular jobsite inspections to ensure contract compliance, workmanship quality, and safety.

• Coordinate warranty work and maintain communication with owners to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Manage large projects with minimal supervision.

• Estimate costs associated with changes in project scope.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC project management.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong organizational skills.

• Solid understanding of construction processes.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Microsoft Project.

• Ability to commute to or relocate to Hayward, CA before starting work.

Preferred Experience:

• Commercial HVAC construction project execution.

• Piping trade coordination and construction planning.

• Project cost control, subcontractor procurement, and vendor management.
