About the Role: Feliheal Home Healthcare Services is urgently seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse to step into the Director of Nursing (DON) role in Chester, NJ. Responsibilities:- Oversee and manage all clinical nursing operations and patient care delivery within the home healthcare setting
- Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives
- Supervise, mentor, and support nursing staff to ensure compliance with clinical standards and best practices
- Conduct patient assessments, care plan development, and ongoing monitoring of patient outcomes
- Ensure regulatory compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards for home health agencies
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- Manage staffing, scheduling, and performance evaluations for clinical personnel
Requirements:- Active RN license in the state of New Jersey (required)
- Minimum of 2–3 years of nursing experience, preferably in home healthcare or a related setting
- Prior supervisory or Director of Nursing experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of home health regulations, Medicare/Medicaid guidelines, and compliance standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and clinical documentation
