Senior Test Engineer

Aquinas Consulting is currently looking to fill a Senior Test Engineer job in Menomonee Falls, WI. This CONTRACT hire job is available with one of our key customers in the defense industry. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of test programs that measure the functionality and integrity of naval power and control systems. In order to be successful in this position, you must have a BS in Electrical Engineering, five plus years of manufacturing experience, US Citizenship, and an active DOD security clearance. Preference will be given to someone with high power and defense industry experience.

Senior Test Engineer Job responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, analysis, and documentation of testing for products, systems, and subsystems.
• Write test procedures and protocols to assess reliability and performance against standards and specifications.
• Debug test hardware and software.
• Review customer specifications and requirements and develop designs that support them, with cost as a key design variable.
• Specify and evaluate supplier components, subsystems, and services.
• Develop prototypes to retire key development risks and support design to cost and design for manufacture requirements.

Qualifications:

• Five plus years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
• US Citizenship and an active DOD security clearance required
• High power and defense industry experience highly preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem solver willing to mentor junior engineers

This contract Senior Test Engineer job is based in Menomonee Falls, WI. The hourly pay rate for this role ranges from $90.00 - $95.00. Contractors working through Aquinas Consulting are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, medical indemnity coverage, a 401(k) plan, and biweekly direct deposit pay. Contract roles do not include PTO unless required by applicable state laws.
