We manufacture custom components for the NDT, nuclear, aerospace, and heat exchanger industries, exporting to over 50 countries worldwide.

Position Summary:

Due to company growth, ECUTEC is seeking an energetic, tech-savvy, and self-motivated Part-Time Office & Operations Support Assistant. This role provides critical cross-functional support to our Office Manager, Sales Team, and President, blending office administration, basic accounting, customer service, and light shipping logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shipping & Logistics: Package outbound shipments daily; prepare export documentation and shipping labels; coordinate carrier tracking and customer updates.
• Receiving & Inventory: Inspect incoming deliveries and maintain accurate material inventory records.
• Financial & Clerical Support: Assist with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR); maintain up-to-date financial records in QuickBooks.
• Technical Quoting & Sales Support: Prepare and dispatch technical sales quotations based on customer specifications.
• Office Administration: Manage incoming calls, customer messages, incoming/outgoing mail, physical filing, and digital document management.
• Facility Support: Maintain office supply inventory; assist in keeping common areas and the lunchroom organized and professional.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience using QuickBooks (AP/AR and record-keeping).
• Experience with shipping preparation, freight handling, or export documentation preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and general computer/data entry accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal interpersonal communication skills.
• High integrity with a strict respect for confidentiality.
• Excellent time management and ability to prioritize shifting tasks independently.

ECUTEC, located in Clover/Lake Wylie, is a leader in NDT testing equipment, calibration standards, machining and EDM services. We manufacture components for the NDT, heat exchanger, nuclear, aerospace industries, among others and export to over 50 countries. We have very little production work, instead, focus on custom made components. ECUTEC works only the day shift.
