HES Elevator Services, a division of Savaria Inc., is a leader in the Elevator and Mobility space; selling, installing, and servicing a variety of products to homeowners, commercial contractors, and educational clients throughout Colorado.

Our parent company, Savaria is a global leader in accessibility and patient care products, designing and building wheelchair lifts, stairlifts, elevators for home and commercial applications, Along with medical beds, therapeutic surfaces, ceiling track lifts and patient slings.


Position Summary

We are looking for a motivated, reliable candidate to join our team as a Project Manage. This role will report to the General Manager and will play a key role in the success of our projects.This role requires strong organizational skills and a successful candidtate will be responsible for adhering to timelines, acquiring documentation for releases to production, reviewing plans and construction documents for accuracy, performing site coordination, meetings with builders, architects, homeowners, and other miscellaneous tasks. If you are a fantastic communicator who understands the construction industry and is able to multi-task, this role is for you!

Work Location

This position will be in our Denver, Colorado office and will require travel throughout Colorado. Overnight travel may be required but not often.

Transportation

A company vehicle will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned lift/elevator projects from project creation to inspection.
  • Collaborate with our salesman and site contractors, architects, etc. regarding equipment configuration and installation requirements.
  • Organize and track all required documents to release lifts/elevators into fabrication.
  • Perform pre-construction coordination meetings, framing and electrical checks, and final site visits.
  • Schedule and assign installation dates for our field crews.
  • Ensure field crews are set up for success on installation start.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used for each project.
  • Follow all OSHA, Industry and Company safety guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum of a HS diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and retain a clean motor vehicle report.
  • Basic computer skills – Microsoft office suite.

Experience

  • Experience in the construction industry.
  • Experience working with contractors is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of construction related safety procedures is a plus with OSHA 10+ preferred but not required at time of hire.

Key Skills

  • Using a tape measure and identifying plumb, square, level surfaces.
  • Ability to read and understand construction plans.
  • Comfortable sketching conditions.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good organizational skills.
