About the Position
Mid Star Lab Inc. is growing, and we’re looking for a reliable, hands-on Manufacturing Lab Technician to join our team in Tonganoxie.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, learning a skilled manufacturing process, and taking pride in producing quality work. Previous orthotics experience is not requiredwe will train the right person.
What You'll Do
- Manufacture custom orthotic devices following established processes and specifications
- Operate tools and manufacturing equipment safely and accurately
- Inspect work throughout the production process to ensure quality
- Follow detailed instructions and maintain accurate production records
- Identify and communicate errors, defects, or equipment issues
- Assist with equipment cleaning, basic maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe
- Work with the manufacturing team to meet quality and production goals
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or GED
- Manufacturing, fabrication, mechanical, maintenance, or other hands-on experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Comfortable working with tools and equipment
- Able to follow detailed instructions and consistently produce accurate work
- Basic computer and math skills
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Willingness to learn a specialized manufacturing process
