BONE MARROW TRANSPLANT REGISTERED NURSE

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking an experienced Bone Marrow Transplant Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract position in Birmingham, AL. In this role, you will provide specialized care in a Bone Marrow Transplant Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and assist with Medical ICU overflow. This position requires strong clinical expertise, including hands-on experience with Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT).
WHAT YOU'0LL DO
Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Bone Marrow Transplant Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Medical ICU overflow.
Administer and monitor Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) and other advanced interventions for critically ill patients.
Monitor patient vital signs, assess clinical status, and respond promptly to changes in condition.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to execute comprehensive care plans.
Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure adherence to safety and quality protocols.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
2+ years of registered nursing experience.
Hands-on Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) experience.
Active Alabama Nursing License or Compact RN License.
Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Permanent residence located 50 miles or greater from the facility.
NICE TO HAVE
Current Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) chemotherapy/immunotherapy provider card.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Schedule: Night shift, three 12-hour shifts per week (3x12s).
